ATAC Resources Ltd. Announces Private Placement

June 1, 2009 — ATAC Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: ATC) announces a non-brokered private placement of 3,000,000 units at a price of $0.36 per unit, for proceeds of $1.08 million. Each unit will consist of one flow-through common share and one-half share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant to entitle the holder to purchase one additional flow-through common share at a price of $0.50 for a period of 2 years from closing. ATAC may pay finder’s fees in accordance with the TSX Venture Exchange policy in respect of a portion of the funds raised pursuant to this private placement.
The proceeds from this private placement, which is subject to regulatory acceptance, will be used to continue exploration on the ATAC’s mineral properties and for general working capital.
